About the District

South Trail Fire Protection & Rescue Service District is a progressive fire district committed to protecting and serving our community with excellence, integrity and compassion.  We value innovative leadership, strategic planning, and a people-first approach to public service.  We also value the dedicated employees that choose to make South Trail Fire & Rescue their place of employment. 

All applications must be submitted before the posted deadline via postal mail or in person to station 63, 5531 Halifax Avenue, Fort Myers, Florida, 33912.  Applications are kept on file for one calendar year. It is the responsibility of the person applying to keep their application up to date. South Trail Fire & Rescue is a drug-free workplace.
