Congratulations to our New Training Captain – Joshua Colon! Please join us in celebrating the promotion of Firefighter Joshua Colon to Training Captain with the South Trail Fire & Rescue Service District! This morning, Captain Colon’s family joined our South Trail family to mark a meaningful milestone—the end of his last 24 hour shift and his final time taking his gear off the truck as a firefighter. It was a proud and emotional moment as his crew, Captain and Chiefs shared well wishes and meaningful advice. This well-deserved promotion reflects FF Colon’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to the job. While he may be trading 24 hour shifts for target solution assignments, coffee in the training office instead of the dayroom, and phrases like “per policy” and “just send me an email", we’re excited to see him put in the work, shape the next generation, and continue making this department stronger.
